Amanda Tai

Bio

Amanda Tai serves as the program coordinator for the Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability's online Master of Natural Resources. She has an extensive background in higher education and environmental non-profit program management. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Amanda was the assessment and volunteer coordinator for the College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences at the University of the District of Columbia, where she led program improvement processes and community engagement efforts. Previously, she worked at American Forests as the public policy and urban forests program manager, supporting initiatives to protect and restore urban and rural forests. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Wellesley College.
