Andria Schibler

Bio

Currently a civilian federal employee and a Major in the United States Army Reserve, Andria Shibler, PhD received a doctorate from the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center under the supervision of Dr. Sharon Dent, Ph.D. where she studied cell division and drug resistance to benomyl, the fungicide used on a wide range of crops. Upon graduation she became a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, under the supervision of Dr. Tom Misteli, Ph.D. where she studied how human cells respond to chemical and genetic stressors, changes during aging, and cancer.
