John Hadidian

Professor of Practice

John Hadidian was the Director of the Urban Wildlife Program at The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) from 1996 to 2011 and Senior Scientist for the Wildlife Protection Program until retirement in 2016. Prior to that, he was the Urban Wildlife Biologist for the National Park Service’s Center for Urban Ecology in Washington D.C. from 1985–1995. He currently serves as a board member for City Wildlife, a science advisor for Project Coyote, Vice President of the District Coyote Project, and a Global Ambassador for WellBeing International. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and a Master's and Ph.D. from Penn State in Primatology.
