Susan Apollonio

Susan Apollonio is a Leadership and Career Coach. As Apollonio Coaching and Consulting's founder, she partners with natural resources and design professionals to develop leadership awareness for professional and personal success. At Virginia Tech, Susan coaches and advises students in Virginia Tech's Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability Online and Executive Master's programs on career and leadership development. Before establishing her coaching practice, Susan served as the Director of Education and Marketing for the American Society of Landscape Architects. She led cross-functional teams and inter-organizational partnerships, established and evaluated programs, curated interdisciplinary content development, and collaborated with leaders on professional development. Additionally, Susan has led leadership development, change management, career discovery, and diversity programs in academic and professional settings. Susan holds an Executive Master of Natural Resources degree from Virginia Tech and a B.A. in Art History from Purchase College.
