Message From Program Director Kieran Lindsey

The Online MNR is designed for working professionals. Our asynchronously delivered virtual courses and flexible registration allow busy adult learners to prepare for and advance their careers in natural resource management, environmental conservation, and sustainable development. In keeping with the Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability (CLiGS) mission to educate, inspire, and empower natural resource management, environmental conservation, and sustainable development professionals to create a better future for people and our planet, we have chosen faculty who are working professionals themselves, well versed in both theory and real-world applications.

Our faculty members are passionate about students, teaching, and their subject matter. Adept at online course design and delivery, they also recognize the value in creating opportunities for students to share their expertise and experiences with one another, creating the kind of rich, engaging, and inclusive learning community one might not expect from a virtual classroom. I am especially proud of our Global Study experiences, a unique face-to-face component of this otherwise 100% online program that broadens perspectives while making studying abroad feasible for working adults.

It is a privilege to count these dedicated educators as colleagues. I see their commitment to our students demonstrated daily, and I greatly appreciate their contributions to the goals set forth in our mission.
